These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Human Development Assessment website, including the assessment, results pages, email communications, and related features. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.

This site is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use this site or submit personal information through it.

This site provides a self-reflection and personal growth assessment for educational and informational purposes only. The assessment, scores, written feedback, reviewed reflections, and related content are not medical advice, not mental health treatment, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a licensed physician, psychologist, therapist, psychiatrist, or other qualified health professional.

If you are in crisis, believe you may harm yourself or others, or need urgent mental health support, do not rely on this site. Call 911 or contact a qualified emergency or mental health provider immediately.

By using the site, you understand and agree that assessment scores are interpretive and are not statements of fact. Results may be generated using rule-based logic, AI-assisted scoring, and human review. Written reflections may be reviewed manually by an administrator or reviewer. Results are intended to support self-reflection and growth and are not intended to determine medical, legal, employment, educational, or fitness-for-duty status.

Your use of this site does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, counselor-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and the site owner, operator, reviewer, or any affiliated person.

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or unlawful information; attempt to interfere with, damage, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site, database, email systems, or accounts; use the site in a way that violates any law or another person’s rights; or copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except as permitted by law.

If you provide your email address, you agree that the site may send service-related emails needed to deliver the assessment experience you requested, including initial results, final reviewed results, and email preference notices. Optional follow-up emails are separate and may be turned on or off through the provided preference or unsubscribe links.

Your use of the site is also subject to the Privacy Notice, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.

The site, its design, branding, assessment structure, text, graphics, software, and related content are owned by or licensed to the site operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the site only for personal, non-commercial use unless written permission is provided otherwise.

This site and all content, scores, results, and communications are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner and any affiliates, reviewers, contractors, or service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, profits, opportunities, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of the site owner for any claim arising from or relating to the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site owner and any affiliates, contractors, reviewers, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or another person’s rights.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, attempted abuse, or used the site unlawfully.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement between you and the site operator regarding use of the site.
