This Privacy Notice explains how the Human Development Assessment website collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the assessment, request results by email, manage email preferences, or contact us about your results.

This site is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not intend to collect personal information directly from individuals under 18 through this site. If we learn that a person under 18 has submitted personal information through the site, we may delete that information.

We may collect assessment information, including your answers, scores, written reflections, reviewer notes, and final results.

We may collect contact information, including your name and email address if you provide them.

We may collect consent and preference records, including consent choices, email preferences, unsubscribe events, and related timestamps.

We may collect technical and operational information, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and basic logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

We use this information to score and generate your assessment results, save your submission, make your results available through a private results link, send requested service emails, support manual admin review of written reflections, maintain email preferences and unsubscribe records, protect the site, troubleshoot issues, and improve the functionality, reliability, and security of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may send service emails needed to deliver the assessment experience you requested, including result emails, reviewed-results emails, and preference-management emails. Optional follow-up emails are separate and are only sent if you opted in.

You can unsubscribe from optional follow-up emails at any time through the unsubscribe or preferences link included in those emails. Even if you opt out of optional follow-up emails, we may still send necessary service emails related to the assessment you requested.

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate the website and deliver the service, such as hosting providers, database or storage providers, email delivery providers, and analytics, security, or error-monitoring providers, if used.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights or safety, or respond to a valid legal request.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including delivering results, maintaining consent and unsubscribe records, operating the service, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know, access, correct, or delete certain information, subject to legal exceptions.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective means the updated notice will apply going forward.
